Joshua Parr

Joshua is an independent researcher who earned an associate degree in engineering after two years at Piedmont Virginia Community College. He then transferred to the University of Virginia, where his credits and coursework carried into the electrical-engineering program and he completed his third year of the degree. He intends to return to complete his final undergraduate year when circumstances permit.

For more than ten years, Joshua has independently researched combat-aircraft technologies. That long-running work is complemented by hands-on development with embedded computers, sensors, communications hardware, and mobile research platforms.

ACES Technology is the working identity for that research: a place to document prototypes, publish technical analysis, and make the engineering process visible to potential collaborators in academia, government, and industry.

Research approach

The work deliberately separates demonstrated results from planned capability. Small-scale prototypes investigate integration problems that also matter in larger systems: interface stability, component replacement, data normalization, power integrity, verification, and human-readable technical evidence.
